About Us

Acharya Rigzin was born in 12/2/1989, at Himalaya Village called Thaley. Its near Langtang Range and when he was 10 years old he become monk in Royal White Monastery, Jorpati, Kathmandu, Nepal in 1999. After that he did his monastery level study till 2006 and in 2007 he requested to his master to give permission to study in Shreda for higher Buddhist Studies and then master send him to study in Rumtek Karma Shri Nalanda Institute in 2007. And now he is doing graduation on Buddhism philosophy and after 2 years he will complete his master Degree. Acharya  Rigzin's Vision

Although all the people in Himalaya region of Nepal are Buddhist yet due to lack of Dharma Gurus and teachers giving Dharma teaching and spiritual guide lines to the people in the region most of the people are ignorant about the basic teaching of Buddha and lack the practice of Buddha Dharma. Therefore, he is trying to build a small monastery, prayer hall for Dharma practicenor at Himalaya village Thaley 9, Simpalkabrey Sindhualchok, Nepal.

The new monastic complex will be a center of Buddhist learning, preservation and spirituality inclusive of all the Mahayana traditions and accessible to all.

A prayer hall

A library

Monastic and guest accommodation

Meeting Room


Mani Prayer wheel



How you can help

You can help us by giving a cash donation, or a material donation such a construction material. e.g. bricks, cement, etc. or internal fittings and monastery requirements such as statues, cushions. etc.


Acknowledgment of donations equal in value to

the amounts below

1. Nrs. 25,000 - 50,000:

Bronze certificate and name on the new monastery acknowledgment walls.


2. NRs. 50,000-100,000 (1Lakh):

Silver certificate and name on the new monastery acknowledgment walls.


3. NRs. 1 Lakh - 5Lakh:

Gold certificate and name on the new Monastery Acknowledgment wall.


4. NRs. 5Lakh and above:

Gold certificate and an individual plaque on the new monastery acknowledgment wall, and a dedicated Buddha statue in the 1000 Buddha Statues Wall in the Mani Prayer hall.


All donations Nrs. 1,000 and above will beacknowledged in the Karuna. Those donors be contribute equivalent to Rs. 25,000 or more will be eligible for life membership with all the benefits. All who contribute 1 lakh and above will be entitled to a dedicated Buddha statue in the 1000 Buddha Statues wall in the Mani Prayer Hall.
